I wish you would expand on the last topic, night sleep vs day sleep. My husband consistently sleeps around 4am to 11am, or thereabouts. He's always been like this (for context I think he may have ADHD and struggles with time blindness, he also feels more productive in the night). I try to get him on a "better" schedule but tbf I don't really know what's "better" about night sleep vs day sleep (other than it being less disruptive for family life). Would be keen to learn more.

This is why being neurodivergent is so fun. My 'natural ' state seems to be getting to sleep at midnight till 8ish and a nap in the afternoon. More now with the fatigue issues I deal with but still day time tends to be my best sleep if I can get it.

I just took a 5 week vacation where I got to sleep every night from 2AM to 9 Am. At the end of those 5 weeks I felt the best I have since I was a kid.

One week back to work and I am drained from my early to bed early to work routine.

I an 10 yrs from retirement, can't wait.

i can assure the only time i could sleep anywhere and any time was when my body was horrifically missing sleep on a daily basis

All heath problems increase with less sleep. It's a matching line on a graph, so sleep as much as you need or want to. Your health will increase.

You can't train your vrain to get less sleep and wake up at 4 am.

I'm 41. Been waking between 3-5 am for the passed 30 years, working on a farm and school as a kid to my job as an adult. You don't get used to it because the body is designed to sleep at certain times of the night through certain periods.
