Nah soviet bias might be a thing and all but ive pulled off some weird shit in german planes like ive legit had my plane break in half and i was able to fly for another like 2 minutes as if nothing happen

with germany and every other country, skill is required and a necessity, for russia, skill isn’t needed you just need a vehicle cause gaijin broke historical bounds to give every soviet tank twice the armor

Tbf the German aviation tree is the most average tree in the game (excluding premium). I feel like its best tiers are probably 3 and 4.

The reason the TA-152 is overpowered in game is because they used its paper stats. The schematics incorporated a design which would have used aircraft aluminum for the hull, making it lightweight and thus faster with a better climb rate.

In reality, Germany had run out of aircraft aluminum by the time they were sent into production; so the TA-152 had to be constructed out of pure steel, reducing its flight performance but increasing the durability immensely. The engine also underperformed forcing it to operate as a mid altitude fighter rather than the intended high altitude.

Gaijin combined the two to give it the best attributes of both, with the durability of the steel airframe but the maneuverability of its aluminum paper model with the full blueprint characteristics of the vehicle. Making this aircraft in game nothing but a physically impossible work of fiction.

germany just slapped wings on their tanks. Ive had many games where my plane looked like swiss cheese but i managed to land the plane after taking one or two enemies down in realistic mode.
