its not actually biased, they just have a heavy tank doctrine where if it ain't a support vehicle or a apc/ifv, its got a good amount of armor, a full auto loader and its almost entirely a bomb.

I have a friend who any time he plays complains about the Swedish tree because he keeps dying to it as a Russian main.

that's because the Swedish tanks are more anti heavy armor and such, plus with gaijin adding the tree they had to fill up the tree in full. taking a ton of post war tanks and tank ideas and putting them at lower battle ratings, another thing he hates cause he wants to use his IS7 and be invincible cause its more fun then being penned by an APFSDS or HEATFS from a Swedish tank halfway across the map when 1 of his shells will simply delete the thing from existence.

every tree and every tank has its own role. America is a Cas route, you have a lot of Air to ground in all battle ratings from strat bombers to fighters with 500K bombs.

Germany is the technological center creating tanks so massive and hard to pen with good crew numbers early on but later just being a good high survivability tank.

Russians as stated have good armor, speed is ok, and massive guns with really good APHE rounds.

Britain is all pen no damage and all armor or no armor but no speed or all speed.

Japan is just sad until it isn't.

China is just US and Russia mixed with all the best vehicles plus some "Authentic Chinese vehicles.

Italy is fast and dangerous having ok penning shells or just HEAT.

France is Really early Auto Loaders on big guns.

Sweden is sniper anti tank. less average pen then a British tank but more killing power and speed.

and Israel is just high tier hell with the APC Merkava's just being unkillable in a down tier, admittedly not doing much but they can scout, take out Helicopters, and pen side armor.

of all the trees America ruins ground combat the most while also balancing the other branches with just a player who is unkillable by conventional means now gets bombed and either uses a back up or changes tanks.

but Russia ruins pure ground combat the most with really hard hitting guns where if they pen you die from the shrapnel or in higher tiers from over pressure.

Difference is "bias" was real for Germany in ww2

As a german main, our tanks are very powerful but when I see a IS-2 in anything other than the jagtiger it's pretty scary

As a ussr main i think that ussr is overrated (in my experience) i die in the 1st few minutes of the match and i also get uptiers over and over again, a normal match is rarer than a uptier for me
