How to Handle Intimidating People

Have you ever met someone who intimidates you? Makes you feel small or like you're not good enough?
Intimidation has a way of stunting you, both professionally and in terms of personal growth.
If you feel intimidated by someone — whether it’s a coworker, your mother-in-law, or a friend-of-a-friend — understand that your fear gives them power over you and allows them to dictate your thoughts, emotions, and actions.
For example, maybe you change your behavior in subtle ways to please them, such as ordering a meal you wouldn’t normally order at a restaurant or avoiding discussing certain topics. Or it may be more significant, such as letting their criticism get under your skin and seriously harm your wellbeing.
