Matt Powell grew up in a Christian home in Durand, MI. As a child, he struggled with his faith in God due to being continually challenged by the teenagers on the bus route to church. Some of them didn't believe in God, but they would come to church just for the treats and the friends they made. Matt ended up becoming agnostic at a very young age as a result. His parents had issues with him as well. When he was 11 years old, his parents introduced him to the Creation Science Seminar Series by Dr. Kent Hovind. Dr. Hovind's work brought Matt to an understanding of the truth of God's Word. One week after listening to the Creation Series, he went to a tent revival at Antrim Baptist Church in Fowlerville, MI, and heard a powerful sermon by Jason Kendrick on salvation. Matt trusted Christ as his Savior after the first service of the revival.

Matt has gone on to debate many well known youtubers and PhD's, and takes down their arguments by simply using the Bible. Ultimately, his goal is to get people to Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. He doesn't like to do debates, but he says that he's willing to if it means that he can get people to abandon irrational beliefs.

I love how the people who can "debunk" evolution don't even understand the most basic principles of it.

The T-Rex didn’t “devolve” into chickens. The T-Rex died out. A parallel line of Theropod Dinosaur (which would have shared a common ancestor to the T-Rex and would most likely been small and feathered) managed to survive past the extinction of all the lines of larger Dinosaurs, and evolved into the myriad of birds we see today—from Bald Eagles to Ostriches. The “chicken” was then domesticated BY US (via selective breeding) from a similar wild bird most likely from Southeast Asia to be docile and easily controlled. WE did that to that bird—not evolution. Science does not say that the T-Rex “evolved” into chickens—they say that chickens are “genetically close” to the T-Rex.



Of course, this just goes to show that you do not understand almost anything that you find “incredulous” because you just want that which fits into your world view to be "true". So, you try to insult those that truly investigate the world around us, in order to satisfy your world view. Shame on you!



Oh, and one other thing—scientists (and those who follow them) do not use the words “belief” and “believe” the same way that you do. You use those words to profess faith without evidence. Scientists use those words as synonyms for “suspicion” and “suspect”, as in they “suspect” what a process possibly is BASED ON evidence. If new evidence comes along (which is not just your incredulousness), then they change what they “suspect” based on both the old AND the new evidence.

Chickens actually can fly short distances, depending on the species, and obviously the domesticated chickens you typically find on farms were selectively bred over thousands of years to have certain traits that aren't related to surviving in the wild.

Anyway, I'm not sure you realize how silly it sounds to point out some particular physiological feature of an animal as some kind of problem for the theory of evolution. Physiological features that no longer serve the same purpose as the corresponding feature of some long past ancestor species is exactly the kind of thing that evolutionary theory predicts.
