It's real. On my research about the t-rex he did sound like that. That is very very creepy to listen to, especially at night time. The t-rex does NOT roar. His voice is like a motorcycle on the streets but even more creepier.

First time I’ve actually heard scientifically accurate, up to date dinosaur media! Paleontologist have recently thought that since dinosaurs didn’t have voice boxes, they couldn’t roar! But that doesn’t mean that they couldn’t growl! Awesome!

The rex didn't roar it bellowed but it bellows were song strong that it vibrates meaning you don't even need to look for a rex to make sure if ones creeping out on you you'll feel it couple that with that weird crocodile like sounds you have yourself a horrific real life nature predatory encounter
