Tornado passes over highway in Fort Pierce, Florida

My family was directly hit with this tornado about a minute after it crossed this road. I was able to call and warn them right before it hit. Their neighbor is a sheet metal warehouse. Luckily their house is surrounded by a lot of trees which seemed to shelter it. Dozens of plastic crates from an orange juice factory are all over the property in pieces. Sheet metal everywhere. The house has a little damage but the entire property is almost inaccessible from the amount of trees down. It snapped numerous tree trunks over 2 feet wide right in half. This same tornado then demolished Spanish Lakes (senior mobile home community) and took the lives of many people there (4 confirmed but many locals say 35+). It also hit parts of the Highlands, Vista Royale, then crossed the river and hit A1A and the Riomar area in Vero Beach. I’ve heard many reports that it was 1/2 mile wide and caused at least EF3 level damage.

I moved there 6 months ago. We have no electricity and it’s flooded. Thank you God everyone in my home are okay! My heart goes out to the people who loss their homes

That tornado has to be at least a mile and a half wide!!! Yikes! That is super creepy. I never knew hurricanes could spawn tornadoes. Praying 🙏 for all affected. Please be safe!

It's crazy hurricanes can spawn tornadoes. Prayers for everyone down there. I personally prefer not living in Florida. Way too many dangers.
