Gibson 2016 Les Paul 60s Tribute Electric Guitar Review

Hey folks, welcome to the channel. So today I decided to upload an old video I recorded some time ago but never put on You tube where I review the wonderful Gibson 2016 Les Paul 60s Tribute model. This time Gibson brings the iconic and timeless classic in an affordable satin finished mahogany body beauty complete with the traditional head stock, vintage tuners, P-90 Alnico Single coil pickups and a thicker rosewood fret board compared to those found on previous models. This entry feels like an old flame rekindled and I truly believe that 2016 was a year of redemption for Gibson after receiving much backlash on some of the innovations attempted (Gibson Purists be like: if it ain't broke, don't fix it! lol). I can say without a shadow of a doubt that if you want a real, traditional Les Paul for less than a grand, this is the most accurate way to go. This particular guitar was set up perfectly out of the box and came with a nice padded gig bag as well as a picture of it being set up at the factory. You can find these tribute models renewed for 2017 but you can still find new 2016 models if you shop around.
