As beautiful as the guitar is, can we have a moment to celebrate what a great player this guy is?

Greg has got to be one of my favorites to watch demo ANY guitar!! he is awesome!

Greg’s playing is phenomenal imo. So many players tend to just play single notes in a non melodic way but here we have such impressive chordal complexity regarding technique and rhythm.

so glad I found good quality gear demos that aren't rob Chapman playing the same repetitive shit

picked up a 2012 cherryburst one of these recently for $675. it's got some good character to it on the body, a little buck rash, some dings here and there. still an absurd deal. and one of the single best playing, feeling, and sounding guitars i've ever had the pleasure of playing.

I have one of these. It's a great guitar. But this guy could make any guitar sound awesome. What a player!

I can't figure out why people would dislike this video. I really enjoyed the quality of the video and playing.

I have one version from 2012, one with a baked maple board, as the rosewood supply was dwindling. It's nice to know that the pickups and chambered body are the reasons why it sounds so good, as I can't tell any difference. I also like the fact that he did not have a noise gate, allowing the P90 noisiness to just coexist with the truth of what the P90 sounds like. As for the song @ the 3:30 mark, it's likely his own composition as he's been playing it on a lot of videos since 2011, especially when demonstrating a guitar in the middle position. I'd say he composed it on that setting. Play on GK! As usual you are on fire!

Awestruck. Nothing else to say and it doesn't matter which guitar this man is playing.

Was @ local GC (Florence KY) checking 4 new arrivals and came across this. Took it home str8 away!  Comes with the DUMB gig bag so had 2 put out 4 a hard shell case but did get $100 off, so it was a wash lol  LOVE this guitar!  So smooth and P-90 pickups SCREAM! Love the weigh and the tapered neck WOW  And its 1 I wont have 2 worry about so much. You know that always saying NO or DONT TOUCH... Just LOVE THIS ONE!

I have a 2011 Gibson Les Paul Studio 60s Tribute Worn Ebony, and I absolutely love it. The neck on it feels so good and it plays hella fast, and the p90s on mine sound amazing it's wild I can get a nice clean tone with the neck pickup and get a blues tone when the distortion is on and almost get it to sound like a start. The bridge pickup is surprisingly high output and can get away with playing hard rock and heavy metal, and pulls off pinched harmonics like no others business. It stays in tune very well. Ive had the guitar since 2012 and it was love at first sight haha
