Regardless of peoples opinion on Gibson, they still produce the most affordable US made guitars(and no I'm not counting the one local luthier you know that gave you a good deal on a home build).

P90´s are not ready to produce the best tone because there´s no wraparound bridge !!!. Check a Gibson Melody Maker and You`ll hear what P90´s are capable of. And the price is cheaper than this one.
