Volvo V50 Service light reset procedure 2004 - 2012

How to Reset the Service light on a Volvo V50. This is a 2009 model year.

Thank you! The only instructions that have worked! The button to press is on the left in my car but letting it go as soon as it started flashing was the key, because other instructions said to hold it for longer

My button was on the opposite side. Actually there were two knobs there but only one would depress. Thank you❤

Just to add.. On my car. A 2004 v50 2.4 it's the left button you press. Right button sets the clock on my. Model. But method is the same. Thanks!
