I think this is well made tutorial, but I dare say sir, you're not really cropping anything are you? More like masking. When you render that it's going to include that black negative space. Cheeseandrice...

Not what I thought this was. How do you crop into a video frame keeping your aspect ratio so that the zoomed in section becomes the full frame you need (essentially cropping out stuff you don't want to see?)?

using the motion tile effect works better for me but it always depends on what you're creating.
