A fair chunk of his reforms may have been politically motivated too- if I'm not mistaken he wanted to wrest a chunk of power back from the priests of Amun-Ra (who by his time had enough power to rival and threaten the crown). People were also scandalised because he allowed his wife to do many of the Pharoah's duties- such as slaying enemies, and the couple would compete together in chariot races (again, a "manly" activity). There's also speculation Nefertiti ruled as a Pharoah after him. Very interesting period of Egypt's history for sure

Thank you for this one. I would like to hear more about the personalities of the various kings and Queens of ancient Khemet. But I'll it Queen Hapshetsut that I'm most curious about.

You know who converted him from paganism to monotheism? It's the prophet Joseph, son of Jacob, there is a chapter in Quran named "Yusuf", the story of Joseph is there in details.

I've always been told I look just like him by those who know me. When I saw an image of him I was stunned in the similarities. His life path has alot of similarities to mine as well. Since then I always felt a connection to this man in so many ways .😮

So there are some folks out there who claim that modern Egyptians aren't the real descendants of the ancient Egyptians. They argue that the ancient Egyptians were black because, hey, Africa is mostly black, right? And they go on to say that us modern Egyptians aren't "black enough." But hold up, let's break it down.

Check out on google the "World Skin Color Map" that tells us a thing or two about races. It turns out that skin color gets darker the closer you are to the Equator. Why? 'Cause of all that sun exposure, my friend!

Scientists have been digging into this for years, studying how skin reflectance relates to things like ultraviolet radiation (UVR) levels and other environmental factors. And guess what? They found that skin color can be pretty much explained by how much sun you get in the autumn. It's like a straight line, man! They only had to make a few tweaks, like accounting for the maximum amount of UVR, summer and winter precipitation, and boom, they could explain almost all the variations in skin reflectance.

So what does this mean? It means that this whole idea of "race" is really just about how much sunshine people get. Nothing more, nothing less. So when people say Africa is all black, they're missing the point. The truth is, skin color is influenced by a bunch of factors, and it varies across different regions of Africa.

Now, let's talk about ancient Egypt. You see, Egypt is up in the northern part of Africa. And with its location, it's unlikely that ancient Egyptians were exclusively black. They probably had a mix of skin tones, just like any other place influenced by different climates. We gotta remember that ancient civilizations were shaped by all sorts of things, not just how light or dark their skin was.

So, let's ditch those false claims and appreciate the complexity and diversity of human history. Skin color doesn't define who we are. It's time to embrace the knowledge and understand that our shared heritage is so much more than what meets the eye 🇪🇬❤️.

I have just recently been reading about him, and apparently he and Moses were the same person! Sounds crazy until u consider several facts, one being his being chased out of Egypt with his followers is the only record that fits the Exodus, also look into Joseph (YuyA) and Queen Tiye. Not to mention the monotheistic fame they have in common

Akhenaten was portrayed in an unusual style of artwork from his unique reign with a strange-looking face and an even stranger- looking body. A question in my mind is, was that really how he looked, and what caused him to look like that? Congenital deformities? Exotic ancestry? His wife Nefertiti was herself supposedly foreign. After his reign, when polytheism was restored, attempts were made to "erase" him and his innovative sun cult out of the historical records by plastering over the artwork, which ironically helped to.preserve it for nearly three millennia.

It all started after the Exodus, The Egyptians knew there was one true God, they just chose to ignore it, even after the devastating loss to the Israelites, some just silently past it down, he just worshiped what he barely heard of! But the Egyptians wasn't gonna bring up the Israelites or Record this great loss in records, in the Spring of 1443B.C under Ahmenhotep2

He must be the Pharoah that God gave the dream to and the Hebrew Joseph from Cannon told him what God was going to do! 7 years of plenty and 7 years of famine! God speaks and he lives! Amen! Maranatha!
