Usually, people who say lifting is bad for you, cause it stunts growth blah blah blah are the ones who never been to the gym and secretly mirin your gains and are jealous of it.

I didn't start till I was just about to turn 18. Didn't notice any difference, but interestingly, when I started running 5-7km (3-4ish miles) for cardio a few couple months back, I noticed a growth spurt or an inch!

I’m living proof it doesn’t stunt growth, I started lifting at 15 and I was six foot two, now I just turned 16 and I’m six foot five. Lift away kiddos !

I wonder if you could make a video about 2 questions:
1. For muscle gain, how many reps should I do if I have several excersises in one series or how many excersises in one series is recommended (super sets) in
2. For muscle gain and weight loss, can you do a weight lift routine and then do hiit (running and jogging).

Was worried for a sec, cuz friends told me this myth because I enjoy lifting since 13 and I didn’t want to give that up.

my uncle is an orthopedic doctor, and he is specialized in sport medicine, he basically told me that after 15 lifting weights and doing exercise HELPS you grow, as far as you aren't lifting too much weight. the problem is if you start doing exercise seriously WAYYYY too young, just like gymnasts, you will stunt your growth, because your body will focus most of its energy in building muscle which is not normal at that age instead of growing your bones, basically it's like overwriting your body's function by making it NOT grow bone, and grow muscle instead, you will always grow, but less because the body is using more of its energy to build muscle.

It always seems weird to me that people think weightlifting stunts your growth and most people on World's Strongest Man are like 6"8.😂
