Hold it... she's HOMELESS with 3 kids and used her tax return to go on vacation instead of getting a place?!! 👀 I just moved out of a shelter into my own apartment after 2 months, by the Grace of God. Being a resident in a shelter absolutely comes with rules and restrictions, but that only further motivates you to get up and OUT of there! I, too, left every day and went to the library. That's where I filled out the job applications at. And two weeks ago I moved into an apartment directly across the street from my job (downtown to boot)! The shelter offered to cover my first month's rent AND security deposit and blessed me with a ton of household items. I didn't "like" the shelter life, but I certainly thank God that they were there. She missed the blessing in being there. That was an opportunity to transition. (btw I documented the whole 60 days and will be sharing my experience to encourage all the homeless brothers and sisters out here!)
