Perforated Vermiform Appendix || Ultrasound || Case 110

Clinical Features:
- A young male patient came with acute severe right lower abdominal pain.

Ultrasound Features:
- A blind-ended, distended, non-compressible, tubular structure of intestinal origin, connected to adjacent caecum & measuring about 6.2mm in diameter with the poor gut signature with mild periappendiceal collection with surrounding fat stranding is noted at the right iliac fossa.
- There is a breach in the continuity of the appendicular wall with adjacent small collection having communication with the lumen.
