i want to thank you so much. your video is the ONLY video that helped and didn’t make my brain all scrambled or confused. i just applied for cashier at the age of 19 i’m so embarrassed to say i couldn’t count change back because i never took the time to learn. this video made everything so easy.

Honestly for me it’s so embarrassing as a 19 year old who finished school that I never really knew how to count change back as an everyday lifestyle. You taught this easier than I thought it would be, I’ll try to practice w this strategy thank you so much🙏🏽

Thank you so much! I am 18 and have gone through 3 cashier jobs (only part-time jobs available that isn’t waitress or receptionist) and I have gotten fired for my drawer being short multiple times (biggest is $20) I have social anxiety and with the customers rambling, my first instinct is to get them out so I just try to give them close to the money without counting twice. I’ve received a lot of negative feedback from older people since I take too much time trying to count. I didn’t get trained in the training videos or at school so I sort of have to teach myself which is ok

At 31 it’s so embarrassing to me but I never ever in my life got basic math but got hard math with an ease, nobody ever took the time to help me and I never was able to successfully be a cashier any this video surly helped me thank you so much

Thank you for educating. It is blatantly evident this isn’t being taught in schools anymore. Such a shame. I’ve seen pure terror on cashier’s faces more than once trying to figure it out when they cash out the register instead of putting in the $$ I gave them..

I'm 26 yrs old and I work at gabes retail store and I do work at the cash register but the only easy part is that when the customers use their credit card or debit card that one is easy for me but when sometimes they use cash I get in a whole complete traffic stop because I don't know how to count the cash. This makes me that I wanna just put myself out of my own misery and I'm not kidding 😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔

My generation struggles so bad with this, we were told we'd never have a calculator in our pocket in the real world - now most of us don't know how to do this properly

hi! i’m the daughter of the mother who owns this account and my biggest insecurity is not being able to count change, trust me i am an absolute beast at math but when i’m under pressure and my mom makes me count the change i mess it up. this video really helped me get a grasp on the surprisingly easy concept of change! thank you! 😊😊

Thank you so much for making this video. Sometimes when you have a lot of customers to deal with doing math feels like there’s a gun to your head 😅 learning to calmly count back the change like this is a huge help

Thank you,
I so wish this was still standard practice. Nowadays you get a handful of change dropped in your hand, and usually they don’t even tell you the amount! You have to count it yourself to see if they are correct.

Did you know I had to stop the video several times, use a calculator, then play it to confirm I'm doing it right? Then play it again when I solved the problem. Took me at least 10 mins for each one! 😂😛 A difficult concept for me to accept because it would be So much easier to say 2.65 is your change than having to count back from the amount that was owed. Thank you for the video! It was very helpful and I was able to figure it out! 😃🥰

Though I understand the concept I still hate it. 😂 My mind does not process this fast enough to make me feel assured I received correct change. Its backwards thinking for me.

This is foolproof and the more you do it the faster you become. I knew a person who purposely scammed a quarter from every change returned. at the end of the day they laughed and said that's how they made gas money. It's the biggest retail theft that no one talks about.

Why don’t they teach us like this? 😂 This makes so much sense!
