Don’t want to spend time cooking a steak and clean up a pan - proceeds to trim the fat, render it for who knows how long, fill and coat the air fryer with it, retire the bits, fill up a glass, coat the steak with it, end up with a subpar steak but hey, had some extra time to clean the whole mess and do some gardening. 😂😂😂😂😂

What I've taken to doing is pre-seasoning and vacuum sealing my steaks before chucking them in the freezer. Then, when I'm going to be cooking some, I take my InstantPot, set it to sous vide, and just let them hang out in there for a while. Let them rest and cool a bit before pulling them from the bag, drying the outside, and then giving it a good sear in a pan.

I like that this is a practical cooking example for adults with children... I don't care that my Sam's Club bought steaks aren't cooked on the finest grill, over truffle butter... I just need it to be cooked to throw in a salad or mixed with a rice dish...
