Ukrainian opposition leader: Kursk incursion shows Putin is bluffing | Conflict Zone

As Ukraine prepares for another winter of war and power shortages and Russia continues to target energy infrastructure, top politicians in Kyiv say much will depend on the outcome of the US election. The leader of the opposition Voice Party, Kira Rudik, told DW’s Tim Sebastian that Russia, China, Iran and North Korea are using Western indecision over the Ukrainian use of long-range missiles to get ready for a bigger war. Rudik also said Kyiv has shown with the Kursk incursion that Russia is not invincible, and that Putin is bluffing.

Brave lady still in the game of hope. Unfortunately after two and half years of war she fails to understand the reality of this war. Each passing day Russia is marching towards its goals and we see only death and destruction in Ukraine. Russia’s only objective in Ukraine at start of this war was to keep Ukraine neutral and demilitarized. With the West’s escalation of this war now Russia will create a buffer zone that will run across entire country. Hope Ukrainians will realize this sooner and head to the negotiating table if they want the state of Ukraine to exist!

Yes, Ukraine not cable to win this war. They can not even do something as basic as make more than one line of defence, unlike Russia who build defence in depth with several lines of defense. If they want military equipment, then do like everyone else, buy it or produce it yourself! Ukrainian offensive last year did gain very little, but caused a lot of casualties. And what did Russian offensive do this summer?! Take huge territory from Ukraine. If she was out at the front, she know that the Russians can fight very good! But Politicians not like to be at the front! They only like to send others to it! It is Russia and not Ukraine who is winning this war!
