Binging with Babish: Isotope Dog from The Simpsons

It's our seventh foray into the cuisine of Springfield (or rather, Albuquerque), and it's a refreshingly unique take on a ballpark classic: the hot dog. Do mesquite grilled onions, mango salsa, and jalapeño relish come together to make a wiener worth ending a hunger strike over? Let's find out!

To get rid of the "starting" issue when stuffing sausages, I recommend letting your stuffer run until the meat comes out. Put the excess back into the stuffer and place your casing over the nozzle. Now you have an airless sausage.

As someone who has lived in Albuquerque their whole life, I can say that while the flavors are indeed like what you would find here, I imagine that here, the relish would have used Hatch green chile, rather than jalapenos, or roasted Hatch green chile would have been added to the mango salsa.

Ive made these before and the mango salsa mixed with the jalapeno relish is great, Ive used it on tacos too.
