Hello, I'm not necessarily a Karate fighter, I'm a Muay Thai fighter. But since this does serve a purpose in my field as well, may I ask you if you have some body weight excercises as well. This seems like a good way to train for every martial art.

Those punches are very powerful. Our coach always told us that if you're not getting that sound of air passing through your gee, you're not doing the punch properly.

Cool.... here's a tip, that entertains as it trains if you turn a tap on, so it drips one by one loudly on a plate. Then face away mate and respond to the sound, till your alarm goes off or your arms get tired and go down... You'll enhance yourself even further because who you are competing with is you. See if one arm can punch faster than the other, and encourage each arm in turn to not let that other arm do it faster... ✨✨✨🙏🦘

I’m nearly 50. I stopped training 😊karate 6 years ago - shotokan, got to blue belt. Now tried wado ryu, but feeling old and out of shape… plus I’m finding wado confusing 😢

The training routines shown are the very basic DAILY exercises a karateka should execute at home.
However for a contestant or for someone who has to pass daily thru dangerous neighbourhoods training your kicks is equally (if not more) important.
