You could still play windows games on it. You just need to install something like wine. Steam also has proton if you enable it.

Hollow Knight, Celeste, Stardew Valley Blasphemous, all of those are Linux native games to try

Yo, Proton and Steam got you covered, man. Unless its something that uses a kernal-level anti-cheat (think CoD, Destiny 2, GTA Online) you can still play it on Linux.

You can enable Proton to play most windows games on Linux on the game’s settings.

You can still play almost all games that have no kernel level anticheat as wine and proton allow you to run .exe files on Linux

The C drive filling up, that’s temporary files, I completely disabled Windows Updates through the registry like 3 or 4 years ago and yet I still have to clear temp files like once a month

You can still install windows games on steam with a chromebook, theres a compatibility toggle somewhere on steam, lets you install it to the chromebook instead of streaming it

Make sure to turn on compatibility mode on steam

Steam proton will run almost any windows game now of days and wine has gotten so much better for games outside of steam. Even problematic programs will run with a bit of wine tricks, and there are communities dedicated to working around windows kernel level anti cheat for games like honkai star rail etc. (Granted im on arch so I almost always have the most up to date versions. Which has helped alot with any compatibility issues funny enough! but I'm guessing something like pop os will works well or even mint just fine)

If the game isn't on Steam, GoG, or Epic Games I'd say you'll have a harder time to make them work. Steam natively supports Proton and games on the other you can try to run through Lutris, which makes the whole Wine isntall easier. There is also the android layer to play something like Genshin on it. And if all that still isn't enough. The game emulation is also heavily supported route.

You need to do is just install winetricks and then after installing you need zenity for a graphical interface and then download the dependencies you need and heroic games launcher that's all you need
