Recieved a device its gain is increasing at boot and the meter is stucked with 2 red dots this happens each time after restart, firmware is updted all drivers installed, even tried on different pc windows also plz help whtas this problem

I’ve connected to a 2010 iMac Hi Sierra…Driver software won’t open. Drop down menus are grayed out. The device is recognized by the iMac, and can set the sound pref to the ID. Tried legacy driver..no change.

i followed all instructions to get installed but i still can't hear anything through the headphones. :( I'm able to record and get a signal but there is no sound.

playback sound is different from the actual sound,
playback sounds more "dull" and not as clear as actual sound(directly moniter)
is there something i need to setup?
