The GoPro hero 11 does that without the max lens it’s called linear and horizon lock

You can put setting on your cell phone in landscape or portrait mode. So you don't need a gopro.

It seems to me that an Insta360 Go 2 would be a much more compact solution for this. I guess you sacrifice a little video quality though

You can use also an Insta360 its very good✌🏻

Basically Its horizon lock. If you want a cheaper option go with insta go 2 for 300 usd or insta x2 for a unique perspective (they come with horizon lock)
. The max lens mod costs 100 usd add the gopro then.
