No, saturated fats are not inflammatory. Refined carbs, however, are.

Don't forget all the vegetables and seed oils. I got rid of my inflammation by cutting out sugar, oxalate containing plants and yes, increasing my animal fats.

Saturated fats absolutely do not cause inflammation! Saturated fats are a big part of the human evolutionary diet. Conversely, vegetable oils are absolutely inflammatory along with sugars.

I agree with all but the saturated fat part. And occasional bacon. I have no more inflammation and that's most of my diet beef bacon butter and eggs and I plan to add organic cold pressed coconut oil back into the mix

I would add all seed oils to that! ❤ not saturated fats! I feel amazing on grass fed beef, raw dairy and eggs!!! Processed foods and sugars had to go for me! Best choice I made❤️🙏 the only thing I will eat is my sourdough bread. I don’t feel that’s an issue for me.

Don’t forget gluten, corn, lectins and nightshades . They can all cause inflammation ( I speak from experience)

Saturated fat on its own is not inflammatory. It’s the fat humans have thrived on for most of our existence. The opposite of foreign to us.

I absolutely agree with you. Eating any of these foods can cause so many menopausal symptoms. So important to fast... Clean out the old and start brand new.

Does not answer the question "what makes food inflammatory?". Instead attempts to answer "what foods are inflammatory?"

Don't forget veggies and fruits covered in pesticides and herbicides. Also nightshades and gluten. Almost everything is nowadays. The best thing is to try to go all natural.

Thank you for just getting to the point. I go through so many videos that are just so long and by the time they get to a list, I’m already scrolling away.

Just eat like our ancestors hundreds of years ate, Real foods nothing packaged. Careful with cooking oils like olive oil because here in the US you’re most likely buying a mixture of oils (safflower, grape seed, corn etc) then they label it as olive oil. Oils are also a root cause

This is very informative. Thank you. I have recently modified my diet, and this helped solidify my decision.

I have far less inflammation since I went keto. I dropped all the seed oils, grains, and most vegetables. I eat fruits instead of veggies

I agree 100%. What she says about diet is actually evidence based.

Sorry, but saturated fat from grass fed animals is not inflammatory. Our bodies need saturated fats!

According to a Healthline article dated April 23 this year, “current research suggests that nutritious high fat foods can be part of a healthful, well-rounded diet that includes all major micronutrients.” So not harmful.
