I did the same thing almost three week ago, it was a recommitment for me and me promising my life to God again now that I know what I’m doing. I got baptized so young and when I did it the first time I didn’t really know what I was doing, I was just doing it to show others that I was saved and I loved God. But this year was a big year of trials and doubt in my relationship with God, and God told me to do it so I obeyed and then he used me to reach people the next day at Church. All glory be to God because him I wouldn’t have done it that day. I have faith that he will continue to do his perfect will in all of our lives. ❤

Baptism isn't man's work, it's God's work by which we are saved by the grace of God. (1 Peter 3:18-21) Attempting to repeat this insinuates that God didn't "do it right" the first time. I say all of this in love to encourage you to repent, I've been guilty of this sin myself!

sometimes if people are raised in church they get saved and then baptized really young, and most of the time they don’t fully understand salvation and what it means to be a christian, but then growing up being in church and getting older you might realize well im doing this all wrong i didn’t have salvation, so they pray to God and get saved and they want to get baptized again since the first time they didn’t understand. but the most important thing to understand is salvation in Christ is the only way to heaven, being baptized doesn’t make it or break it. it is a symbolism showing that when you go down into the water you are an unbeliever and whenever you raise out of the water you are a born again believer

Brittany, i have gone through a great deal of problems similar to yours. I am working hard to find my way back. I came close a few times and have even prayed for God to take me away from all of this. I had a friend, 2 cousins, and an uncle commit suicide, and I thought that was a way out, but couldn't do it...hence praying for God to take me.I just wanted to say you are an inspiration to many of us. Praise the Lord! There is only one way to get baptised my sister - Acts 2:38. It needs to be administered in the name of Jesus. Father, Son, Holy Spirit are only titles. Acts 4:12 🙏🏽
