These guys are the same size as my dude (plain old leucistic baby) when i got him a few weeks ago. It has been a difficult journey because i am ashamed to admit that he was an impulse buy (encouraged by my children and a cheap price). I have loved axolotls for a long time but had done little to no research prior to buying him, and was severely misinformed by the woman who fetched him out of the tank for me (she was from another department of the store i believe). Long story short, it is a miracle that he has survived to this point, but thanks to your channel i have been able to wise up pretty quickly and fix the pro lems that were in place. He is now super happy and active and uses every inch of his 60L tank (of course i will get a bigger tank once he starts to really increase in size). But in the end i just wanted to say that the advice of you and a gamers wife has helped save a baby axolotl on the other side of the planet. So THANK YOU 🖤
