One can also use wheat flour or rice flour. Wheat flour is thicker and heavier tasting than rice flour and corn starch. Rice is good for gluten sensitive people. Also, if you get lumps, use an immersion blender to smooth out. His suggestion to strain it is excellent. Thanks for sharing.

We grew up in the summer time, especially getting out of the pool in the 60s. My mother would make the homemade vanilla cake let cool. Make this pudding let cool, in the refrigerator pour pudding on top spread cover in regular cake pan and we would tear that up.
