3 Ingredients Caramel Pudding | Dessert Recipe. As the name implies, caramel is the main ingredients to make the pudding colorful. For this reason you need to make the caramel properly. To make the pudding you need egg milk and sugar. Vanilla essence is for better smell but you can skip it.

facts that no one told u:

-The melted sugar/caramel will dry fast.
-When u pour the melted sugar in a bowl, make sure ure fast enough to spread it around or it will be unevenly spread. Lol
-The melted sugar hardens fast like rocks that it will stick all over on ur spatula n pan.
- DO NOT touch the melted sugar when its still in liquid form. U dont wanna leave mark on ur skin like me. 😅

Add 3 tbsp sugar and 1.5 tbsp water in a small saucepan with a medium flame. Stir occasionally until sugar is amber and no longer bubbling. Transfer the caramel immediately to the bowl you will use to store your pudding, and spread the sugar around the bowl, ensuring it fully covers the bottom.

Add 2 cups of milk and 1/3 cup of sugar to a pot. Boil on medium flame until the milk is reduced by half.

Whisk two eggs in a large bowl at room temperature. Add the reduced milk to the egg mixture. Add 1 tsp of vanilla essence. Mix well.

Strain the milk mixture into the caramel-lined bowl. Use a spoon to push any remaining milk through.

Cover the bowl in aluminum foil and place into a paper towel-lined pan filled with water. Steam it for 30 minutes.

Let cool completely, then store in the fridge for 2 hours.

Run a knife along the sides of the bowl to loosen the caramel pudding, and flip the bowl over into a pan. Enjoy!

Tried yesterday, and the texture is very tender and delicious! 👍

I accidentally burnt the sugar so the glaze is bitter but it doesn't affect the pudding's taste that much

Honest review : I wanted to try and make the caramel pudding for along time but all the recipes I found before were kinda hard .. so I wasn’t really sure about this one ; but it’s AWESOME !....
My mom always hated the caramel pudding when we buy it but she loved this one and asked me to do it more .. and I’ll definitely will ! 🖤💎

In Mexico we call this flan, we make it all the time or chocoflan, or strawberryflan we make it like this original or add bread on the bottom

Hi .. tried this recipe today.. n it was my first Try for pudding. .. it really came our well.. and everyone liked it.
Some points which I observed for the beginners
I tried to keep the steam on gas on low flame
I boiled the milk and reduced it to half by keeping it on medium flame
