If there is anything Stoicism does not teach is passivity. Indeed, passivity is seen as going against nature and as such violating one of their biggest principle of living a virtuous life.

Indeed, one could say that Stoicism teaches Activity so much so, that one could perceive it as self-imposed altruism (for the Concept of Nature within stoicism is a self-created imaginary concept, not a factual one). Which is where the biggest difference with stoicism and objectivism lies.

The end goal of both philosophies seem to be rather in line with eachother.

Stoicism, an ancient Greek school of philosophy founded at Athens by Zeno of Citium. The school taught that virtue, the highest good, is based on knowledge; the wise live in harmony with the divine Reason (also identified with Fate and Providence) that governs nature, and are indifferent to the vicissitudes of fortune and to pleasure and pain.

Objectivism, the belief that certain things, especially moral truths, exist independently of human knowledge or perception of them.

Its really not that hard.

Don't you need to be aware of your inner (emotional and intellectual) workings in order to engage with the outer world more effectively?

And the similarity between socialism and Objectivism is that neither accept or understand Man's tribal nature, and therefore neither can work.
