Social media has plagued the world with main character syndrome. We treat everything as disposable the moment it becomes hard, stale, routine, challenging, uncomfortable etc. That's why families, communities, work, public spaces etc. are all not what it was even 25 years ago. Even a decade ago it wasn't what it is now. The childless, loneliness epidemic will grow unless a lot of change and effort is put into it.

I’m about to be 37. Canada. Never had the urgency to have kids. Never wanted kids. I thought about maybe getting married a long time ago but would rather save to have my own home.

I honestly just think that the novelty wears off and you get sick of women and just being around people to get your own life done. I don’t like the mind games and I just can’t stand people in general.
