Confidence is a simple thing really. To attain it, you need to just stop caring so much what others think of you, and start loving being you. When you can do that, you can fully open yourself, and that is the thing he is talking about. When I say not caring what others think of you, I mean not caring how others perceive you. Letting the brillinat person that is you inside, out, and trusting that that you, will be accepted.

This is interesting because you tend to appear very confident. Makes you wonder how real confidence truly is.

No one has it all the time! We all taste slivers of it and then have to get back to fighting the inner demons of doubt and despair. There is no such thing like a permanently confident man just like there is no permanently inspired person or a permanently stupid one. Besides, wouldn't such a person be dangerous to himself and others like for example when crossing the road or when visiting a casino :) Doubt is part of the journey that makes confidence a reality. Confidence would lose its significance without doubt; just like the color black would lose its significance without the contrast of the color white. I appreciate the fact Jason that you have the confidence to share your vulnerabilities with millions of people on camera! That takes more than confidence Jason, it takes inner strength. Thank you for making all these videos which allow us to slip into a manufactured reality and look at life differently!

Honestly for everyone who listens to this, the capability of confidence is all about perception whether or not u perceive urself to be confident is what actually makes you become it, the idea that wherever ur mind travels the body is soon to follow has no boundary in the complex of our imagination and these fake precedences of life in which one has to be cool attractive etc is only a distraction to finding and creating ur true self, for if you can ever live a life without an audience then your life will only be yours and you will have the ultimate free will that makes us all human

I’ve been a podcast audience listener for over 5 years and I’m finally breaking into the “podcasting industry.” I listened to your interview with pretty much every person you've interviewed with (Lewis Howes, Tim Ferris, Joe Rogan and many more) and I just want to simply reach out and say thank you. Thank you for filling up my artistic well, taking me out of depression and making me realize that “dreams are right in front of us and that we need to be proactive and not ‘re-active.”

My plan was to be an actor, go to Hollywood, audition and get on a TV show. After recently graduating and listening to your interviews- you’ve really made a dent for what I’m really hard–wire to do. And that’s to help cultivate someones Information diet. By helping people choose what to consume (podcast, YouTube, social media) I want less people to feel alone with their mental illnesses.

I also really love creating. So much that when I’m not; I feel depressed. I would love to have you on the podcast as a guest and help other creatives deal with their mental challenges to get over this fence.

That great Jason. The belief that some others always have the confidence or stability is an illusion. No one is confident all the time. Sometimes you meet those people while their in that state, but they too go in and out of that zone. One of the biggest helps in me feeling more confident is knowing and accepting that I won't always feel confident, and that's OK.

I thought I saw you at a skate park last summer in Newport Oregon and then I dreamt you were really really depressed. I think confidence is fleeting and in moments we are attracted so that we follow the person who is in alignment in the moment, but it's not always perfect, i.e. Joan of Arc. Vulnerability is also extremely attractive, and the fluid combination of being confident enough to be vulnerable is irresistible. I love you.

It feels nice being around people I care about who know more than me about certain things. In every day life, I feel pressured to have it all together and know all the answers. But connection with others helps to humble me and remind me we’re all in this together.
