YNW Melly appeared in court Friday for a motions hearing ahead of his double murder retrial. The rapper’s retrial date was moved to October 9. Melly remains accused of killing two of his friends after the judge declared a mistrial in his first trial when the jury could not reach a unanimous verdict.

i think if melly wants the jury to believe he wasnt in the car at the time of the shooting his defense team needs to seriously consider prepping him to take the stand in the retrial. the remaining silent thing isnt working with all the evidence against him. he needs to explain every move he made that night so it makes sense to a jury because based on the evidence its seems pretty obvious melly was in the shooter seat at the time of the shooting
