Rapper YNW Melly Heads Back To Court For Double Murder Retrial This Fall

In a status hearing Friday, a Florida court put rapper YNW Melly on the October calendar for his double murder retrial. A judge declared a mistrial last weekend after jurors said they were deadlocked between convicting or acquitting him of first-degree murder. The Law&Crime Network’s Angenette Levy speaks with Florida state attorney Dave Aronberg who explains how the trial of his co-conspirator, YNW Bortlen, may complicate his chance of ever being free.

Going thru the texts were the most damning. He's talking to his mother AT the murder scene. that puts Melly right there. Shots came from Melly's side of the car etc. But that text time is the most damning. When a man says "I did that" BELIEVE HIM.

The previous jury honestly did a disservice to Sak, Juvy, and the justice system in general; they RUSHED that decision because they didn't want to be sequestered over the weekend!

I believe every trial has some errors. It basically amounts down to how much money your willing to spend to find someone to dig it out and enforce the error against the court.

This matter should already have been adjudicated as a guilty verdict at the conclusion of the initial trial. Hopefully the next trial jury will be able to follow the evidence presented as it is overwhelming and only leads to one logical conclusion…
