if anyone has issues downloading the access file try to download the core folder
-> on the right upper corner click on X, you will be redirected to the core folder, then select and download it, everything will work fine

Update: It seems the data source I am using had a date range that is different from this tutorial. Once I changed the range of my date table, it worked. -- I made it to 1:43:45 in the tutorial. The data didn't import as expected, possibly because of changes to PowerBI since this was created. I was able to generate everything via measures, but when I pull the Year to the model, I get nothing. I was able to change the summarization, so I do not know why I'm not getting the "by year" data.
