I think GT7 looks much more clear on the Pro even without the patch. Ive played 80+ hours in VR on my base PS5. I was just about able to make out the dial labels in the cockpit with it, but now i can clearly read them, the vehicles ahead looks sharper and there is less perceived blur in general

It finally happened. Jammy had to stop calling out every single Patreon and YouTube member vocally hahaha. Great job guys!

CyubeVR also had a huge visual upgrade. It's noticeably higher resolution, with longer draw distances and better textures.

I have 4 users in my house. I'm def getting a Pro.

I will say that Vertigo 2 does run really excellent. Also Phasmaphobia is buttery smooth with exception of a couple of the big maps. While I love phasmo regardless it has lot of trouble with a bunch of video cameras, etc. Now I get ZERO frame drops except a couple levels.

Happyfunlands frame rate now runs smooth on the pro.

As a pro owner flat games are noticeably different thats for sure. I upgraded as was tired of choosing performance over resolution. Not any more

I haven't tried RE8 yet, but I played RE4 remake and it looks more clear resolution wise. I haven't had it crash thus far.

I tend to keep my YT VR consumption to a hand full of channels. This one has definitely become one of my favorites, you provide quality to the point content and I appreciate that.

Fuck yeah dude! I just got my PS5 Pro and VR2 Bundle yesterday. Still haven’t slept! This thing rocks ass! Both the Pro and the VR2! Don’t listen to the hating children. The Pro is insane!

No Man's Sky isn't even at its best on PS5 PRO, when PSSR is working in VR games we should see a good increase in resolution or frame rate

I can also confirm that the PS5 Pro brings substantual improvements to all of the gakes I've tried thus far, Jammy. I've noticed that reprojection is far less noticeable. Combine that with all of the games now hitting the top end of their dynamic resolution range and frame rates consistently (or much, much more so), and I've genuinely been throughly impressed by how much of an improvement I can notice. For example, I can now play Happyfunland for more than 15 minutes without wanting to hurl (I have super strong VR legs and frequently play other games for hours and hours). And, on top of No Man's Sky looking even more glorious on the PS5 Pro (albeit, with an official patch), more to your liking will be how Call of the Mountain is simply jaw dropping with a super solid frame rate, tip top resolution and noticeably less reprojection. And I swear, the mura isn't as noticable on games that I found it to be so on the base model. I'll be testing my 180+ PSVR2 games much more vigorously when I finish wirk tomorrow at 10pm, but even without any official patches on all but 3 games at present, and despite a niggling skepticism I had lingering prior to the PS5 Pro's arrival, I now have no regrets in my purchase and would highly recommend that anyone who is interest in a substantial performance boast (both officially patched or not) should buy one of these (especially, if you are a VR enthusiast).

Anyway, carry on being you and producing the superb content that you always do...

I received the PS5 Pro on launch day and Kayak VR and NMS are definitely a WOW!!! More than I expected for sure. Ratchet and Clank and HFW are also a big step up. I haven't tried Cyube VR yet or much else yet but from what I have played so far I am happy with spending my money on the Pro and this is just the beginning.

I've been covering games on the pro, kayak is glorious, cyube is a slight improvement..
Re4 looks loads better, gt7 looks clearer..I'm excited for the future of psvr2! If you're trying to play re4 and it crashes, you have to delete your saved data. NMS looks great.

GT7 is no longer reprojected and it is more responsive. Pick F1 and go fast into a corner. You'll be able to tell yourself.

Arizona sunshine 2 runs smoother and reprojection is a little less annoying but obviously still there, haven't tried gt7 or no mans sky yet, no real change in metro awakening. Still not worth £700 but I don't regret my purchase of ps5 pro

The reason I got ps5 pro at launch was because I couldn’t buy one in 2020-2022 and when I finally got that stupid email from Sony Direct finally letting me buy one but I felt so defeated at that point so I waited and now enjoying all the great games I

Totally understand your reticence about buying a Pro yet, Jammy. However, it's a brand new bit of tech and once devs get a better handle on it, I think we'll see some good things happening with the PSVR2. As someone has said, Last of Us Pt1 looks just incredible, not that it was a bad looker before.

Enjoy your SteamDeck though, Jammy, that is one of the best things to happen in gaming for a long time. I never thought I'd be playing a game like Horizon Zero Dawn on the go, sat having a coffee in Costas. Great Steam sales as well.

Now, I'm under no illusion that Red Matter 2 on PSVR2 with the base console was anything but pretty much perfect, a technical marvel.

I fired it up last night with the Pro and, dammit, it just stunning in fact. It could be the Pro Placebo effect of course, however, there was absolutely zero shimmering, ran at a smoother framerate and just looked overall sharper. Can anyone else back me up on this, or am I going mad with the Pro giddiness, lol.

Good luck waiting for ps6, it's going to be 4 years minimum, possibly more.
