Just picked mine up, it’s FANTASTIC! You just need to get it right on your head to get it clear. It’s a bit pricey but if you don’t have $4000 for a gaming PC and another $2000 for a different VR headset, it’s pretty cheap. GT 7 is amazing!

I'm playing pistol whip, Pavlov VR, Re8 village, swordsman VR and horizon.
The One that Surprised me the most is Pavlov. Hands down the most immersive one. 2 hours went by without me even realizing.

Everybody thinks that wire does not disconnect from the headset, it does without any dismantling. It is meant to disconnect. Look inside right above the visor. On a side-note I've heard people thinking their headset was broke because it won't turn on because that wire got pulled out a little bit. So if you run into anybody that's headset won't turn on make sure you tell them to push that wire all the way in and it will fix the problem

Pro tip: Buy a 40gbps "magnetic" usb-c connector for your psvr2. If you or a newbie kick or pull the cable... it will just pop off instead of potentially damaging your cable/ headset/ or Ps5. 🤠

Dont let the headset hang freely from your wire! Work from the headset to the end of the cable instead!

Just one note. You don't need to disassemble to change cable. The Sony marked tab over the lightshield is actualy a simple pul out tab for the USB-C. Try it out. ;)

00:35 My first gen PSVR does NOT have an earbud stowage feature like the PSVR 2, just 2 dimples in the same area about 2 inches in front of the rear tracking lights. ?

you should learn the over-under technique and make a video demonstrating it with the psvr cable. Its safer for your cable even if you do big circles already (and it looks better :p )

I bought the ugreen 1 meter extension cable and the in between that cable and the psvr2 canle i put a magenetic connector that supports 10 gb/s and it would perfectly and if you have animals or shall kids its essential for not damaging your ps5 or psvr2 if the cable gets hit hard

is there a way to stop the screen moving forwards and back (with your head) in cinematic mode?

double-click the PS5 button twice on the VR controller and it will quick access the VR menu.

Important: it will still be a little blurry and not comparable to the PS5 quality on a TV.
It's gonna be better in-game than in the menu but keep your expectations realistic.
Most reviews seem to not mention this and think their VR2 is broken.
