As someone who struggles with their mental health, this really touched me, as it made me realise that despite everything he did, Peri helped The Doctor out of a dark hole, when she didn’t have to. Peri and 6 had a genuine friendship, almost like siblings, as although they disagreed on a lot, they both needed each other.

Whatever one might think of the episodes themselves, 6 and Peri was one if the best Doctor/Companion teams, on a level with 7 and Ace or 2 and Jamie, and just below the two best: 4 and Sarah Jane and 12 with Clara.
