Can We SAVE This 'ABANDON' JUNKYARD Ford Wrecker? Will It Run and DRIVE Again?

This 1988 Ford wrecker tow truck has been neglected for many years. I took the owners word that it "ran when parked" and rolled the dice paying $2000 to buy it. Let's see if we can get it running/driving again.

THANKS SO MUCH FOR WATCHING!

NNKH is my absolute favorite channel to watch. No over excessive talking. He gets straight to the point on what he's doing. I learn a lot from you Keep up the amazing work man 👍

Most people can't record a video of a stationary object without shaking all over the place. You fall off the hood of a truck backwards and remain in frame the whole time. Respect.

Chris you are a competent mechanic to be sure, but what separates your videos is that you are an awesome content creator and editor. The right camera or drone shot in the right place, the right speed to catch things up. Even when you say it is all over the place with the video content, it is very entertaining to watch. This was an hour video that felt like 15mins.
Continued success to you and Jen.

I was originally drawn to your namesake approach to your work. Then Jen and Gus won my heart. THEN you tarped your entire Tundra on your lawn after it took a dip! I would have taken the L and found another truck as most everyone i know would have. Not you! Your "eh....it could be worse" attitude toward the amount of work ahead, blew me away. You truly must love what you do and that makes you my favorite to watch and learn from. I have to watch your videos late so i don't pester my truck. I also have my parent's 74 Chevelle Laguna S-3 rotting away on the property, but it's tied up in a financial agreement and i dont know if it will ever be mine, so i just look at it lol. Keep up the great work!

You'll see that this is my 3rd or 4th comment in the last couple of days concerning a few different videos that have completely impressed me. You really are something else entirely. Based on all of the other great comments I am seeing I am not alone with my opinion of the great stuff you are putting out...I am a late arrival here so I have a lot to catch up on...

love the old strobe light sounds. when I worked as an EMT, our ambulances were mostly strobe lights and inside the cab sounded like a synthesizer with all the strobe boxes firing and the relays clicking, nostalgia....

Another great video, Pops! I really like the way you put so many project updates in one video without an excessive amount of narration. No nonsense is a fitting description!

Love your channel. I hope you like the 7.3 in your wrecker. It has been the best motor I have owned. Easy to diagnose and repair. Very dependable. I have never seen one that didn’t need glow plugs as soon as temps drop below 50. Good luck.

There's definitely a lot of these "will it run" channels out there, but you in particular remind me of the old school mechanics that could fix just about anything. On top of that is the fact, that you are a wild spirit lol. I Really enjoy your work and your videos, all the best to you and the little lady.👍

I love how kind you were to the elderly guy who was the owner

I'm convinced Chris can fix anything, doesn't matter what it is, what condition it is, how long its being sitting etc. I think if he found an abandoned flying saucer, he could get it going. Really enjoy NNKH.

I drove a 89 heavy equipment service truck years ago. It had the cruise control buttons on the wheel. Engine was a slug but with the low 5 speed she would pull the world. Had to have glows, always!!! LoL. A+!!! Brought back memories hearing the INT 7.3. 👍🏻👍🏻😎😎😎
