This 1955 Buick Special hasn't moved under its own power since being parked in a Kentucky field in 1968! Tony Angelo and the Stay Tuned Crew are determined to see it motoring down the road again! After it was pulled up to Long Island by the current owner, the ST guys grabbed it and dragged it back to PA so it can start the long road back to the streets! Even Vice Grip Derek, who can smell an abandoned Buick across 3 states shows up to give the low down on the car.

This is my first first ever YouTube comment. I've been a fan of yours since your HRG days. 74 year old here, and the first family car I can remember was our '55 Buick Special station wagon. I remember my mom taking my brother and I somewhere and suddenly pull over, stop and turn around in her seat and yell at us, "if you two don't stop fooling around I'm going to murder you." We climbed all the way to the back and just laughed. Good times. I"m excited to follow this project.

You guys are awesome. I especially love when you took Derek for a ride and he didn't even flinch but I saw that smile...

gas tanks have vents because you need air to flow in for fuel to flow out. (which is why it kept dy*ng on the IV drip) love StayTuned! 👍

My first car was a ‘55 Buick Special 4dr sedan with a 264ci nailhead, not a 322 ci like Derek stated. The 4 holers came with the 322 ci . Still have the factory manual and wish I still had the car…

As a 1952 Buick Special owner I approve this content. Save them all. Don’t crush them. Awesome awesome car.

My Gpa was a Chevy, Buick, Olds and Cadillac dealer in Wooster, Ohio for almost 40 years... My Gma always said, "we're a Buick family"...! She thought Cadillacs were too boastful, but she finally let him have one when he retired... It was a 90 Fleetwood and as a kid, that backseat was the size of a stadium...!!! Thanks for the memories... Keep up your awesomeness....!

Small block swapped my 55 Roadmaster 20+ years ago in high school. If you need any part, I’ve got tons of 55 Buick Special/Century parts

Listening to you talk about navigating new york and surrounding areas make me so happy to live in rural Canada. I can literally drive for hours, and have, without seeing another person.

46:15 The exact frame, where the fireball comes out of the carb, would make a great motif for a shirt or something. Black and white shadings, the fireball lighting up the faces. The fender of the Buick poking out front and center. I can see it in my mind, I just can't draw to save my life!

"It's alive!"
