The normal NES music sounded a bit distorted, Was that just the recording?

Am I right in thinking you can take the clock from the PPU to provide correct sound pitch during an overclocked state? EDIT! Or does the CPU provide/pass through the clock for the PPU?

Sorry to say, but not a good demonstration for audio quality since it seems your A/V inputs on your camera had some serious shielding/distortion issues (evident due to how a buzz is heard reacting to the video signal on an otherwise mute screen). Overclock demo is fine though.
