A Walkaround With the Cirrus Vision Jet

I just had a wild experience. So this video shows up on my recommended list. I'm watching it, and I hear that sound of that jet taking off behind the camera. Something in my brain registered the acoustics and said to me, "that sounds like White Plains." Now, I went to a day camp on King Street and Lincoln Avenue between 1973 and 1975, and I flew several times with Murray Bennett, a retired Navy pilot and traffic reporter for WFAS. The last time I was on the deck at HPN was for a flight to Albany in 1984 my freshman year in college. My parents sold the house in Yonkers that August and moved to Florida, and I'm still here in Albany. I haven't been back there since. Your camera turns around and my jaw hits the floor when I see the girders on top of hanger E and the triple hanger across the way. Murray parked his plane (Skyhawk 19651) in three different places in the time that I knew him, and the spot you are standing on was one of them. There must be something in that soil and those trees to make those acoustics so unique that I can identify them so easily.

why does everyone have a problem with this plane being single engine but perfectly okay with other single engine planes like cessna, etc
