Honestly even though it's still kind of clunky right now. This is so much better than last year. The player movement, the simple movement rules. With how many ball handler and offensive hubs we have in the starting line up this in so much better than watching iso ball or a million transition 3's.

I know these take a long time to prepare. Thank you so much!

This is, finally, a kind of analysis so many of us just crave.

Just terrific stuff!

3:58 it's so funny how when you have a system and know what you want to get to as a unit, even moments when someone is out of step are advantageous. Jalen, DLo and Jax CONNECTED because Jax was in the wrong spot. But the key is that they all knew it and it's a time when all you can do is use your instincts. It's like ad libbing in acting. In all performance, the best reason for a sophisticated and WELL-REHEARSED plan A is that plan B C D and onward are usually all easy reads.

Hey Laker film room, the quality of your content is top tier. If I can, please suggest something. As a fan of your channel, we can not see your videos in 1080, and that would help give us clarity

Love it. I imagine that when we become more efficient with these, opponents will overplay/respect us on some of these plays, thus creating more open looks. Pick your poison type offense.

Throughout the game, there would be some moments where they run Spain pick and roll and I dont think I saw it covert to points. However, it was still really effective as they're able to misdirect the defense. Once they start knocking it down, and get into a better offensive flow, the Lakers could seriously be a dangerous weapon.

Maybe you could break down classic laker games like this

What interesting to me is the players seems bought in to the system, despite JJ being a rookie coach. There are a lot of situations last year when the players point fingers and look at the bench for directions.

ANY movement is good with me. The last few years there was no unscripted movement at all. No reaction to plays, no live-reads by players. Just LeBron, D'Lo, Austin doing stuff on their own while others watched.
The best teams move. It almost doesn't matter how. As long as they move stuff happens. Kerr era Warriors. Duncan era Spurs. Current Celtics. Players know how to move and how to make reads. Give me some of that and the team will be 50% better without any other changes.

It seems very triangle-like in which every play starts with the same move but then the play develops based on what the defense gives them. No set plays.

Bronny needs to be the centerpiece of their offense, like Jokic.

You should be lakers assistant coach at least!

Appreciate your observation and critique on the offensive of the ball. I see alotta our mistakes are self inflicted. Smh we still have a Lazy mentality 😮😮
