I know that I've mentioned Cameron Champ already but I have always loved Mcilroy's swing and particularly with the driver. I would say that I now equally esteem Champ's driver swing. Mcilroy looks like a home run hitter through impact tremendous drive forward of the body and massive freeflowing flourish in the release. Champ is equally impressive for the massive centered whip-like motion that he creates around his body wherein the club seems to start accelerating and the lash of the clubhead in the midst of relative corporeal stillness seems to almost go supersonic. Amazing efficiency. Both swings are literally a spectacle worth paying just to see. Couples creates such a vertical plane and narrow arc on the way up that he almost looks iron byron like coming down where the "spoke" of the lead arm is just rotating directly around that vertical center of rotation that he has created. There are elements of similarity between Couples and Champ with respect to the degree of rotational centeredness and smoothness of acceleration. However, Champ gets more recruitment of his trail side and ultimately produces even more power.

my pick is Yealimi Noh, i could watch her swing all day long and never get bored watching her :) btw, Rory is great, but i beat him at the 16th at Royal Portrush, where he only managed a par in 4 attempts, whereas i got a birdie in one attempt! and Mike Austin used to hit it further in the 1950s than Rory does today, and with much older club and ball technology. And way back in the 1930s, Bobby Jones could hit a drive nearly 300 yards all the time...

Always watched these 3, IMO are the best swings in the game Adam, Louie and Rory. If I had to pick 1 to watch all day, its Rory, he's like a well oiled machine

To me the best driver swing is Rory. Tiger and Adam iron swings are fantastic.

Cameron Champ has the purest release of anyone in the world that I have seen bar none. He absolutely maximizes rotational power in his swing to a degree that is amazing and makes it look easy. He also incredibly says that he plays with no swing thoughts. Mind boggling.

I like your selections, if you are talking alive today. Though I am a Freddie fan, his swing is hard to teach. I would suggest Morikawa or Matsuyama. If you are talking GOAT you can't begin without Hogan and possibly Nelson (Iron Byron). I'd like to include Bobby Jones, but his swing was based around the hickory shaft, though most of his fundamentals still apply, some of the specifics are peculiar to the limits of the wooden shafts.

Craig terrific video, all three are Champs, hard to pick...Patrick Cantlay certainly is one to who right up there and Tiger when he was with Butch Harmon certainly had some moves, maybe if you have the time do an analysis on those two?

Interestingly i made a big improvement when i imagined my left side was starting from that yellow line in the iron swing.Why cos most golfers( inc low hcps) never get near it through the ball, let alone past it as Rory does!
