Thank you so much for this video! I'm an unusual rectangle in that I have a large bust so I have to be careful when choosing pieces. A lot of garments that fit my bust are massively too big for my torso and hips. Since taking your eCourse and learning to look for shirt dresses (and wrap dresses) I've added a load of flattering dresses to my wardrobe - including a number from Boden. One other thing that makes shopping Boden attractive is that they include the *actual garment dimensions!!!* for each size - so I can see in advance if a piece will fit my bust AND my torso. That's been a game change for me!

This feels like it’s just for me, I’m definitely a rectangle shape! I was always an hourglass, then around menopause my waist just thickened and thickened, but my weight is the same as on my wedding day almost 40 years ago! Not just styling, but even just finding any clothes that fit at all is tricky. My hips are narrow, so I never had much luck with trousers, even with my 4-inch smaller, youthful waist. This was my favorite episode of all time I think. How lovely are most all of these dresses. I wasn’t sure that I had a square body shape until seeing this.
I’ve always been told since youth that I look good in a fit’n’flair dress. Now I understand why. I have a definite waist line but wouldn’t consider myself hourglass shaped. I recently bought three dresses. They are very similar to those shown in your video. One is a white broderie anglais dress which I will wear with a belt. I also have a broderie anglais jacket. I bought sandals to match the belt which is brown. The second dress is in a green tropical print and the third dress is for cooler days. It has a black bodice, long sleeves and the skirt is green with a black pattern on it. I just hope we get good weather to wear them this year.

I have the black J. Crew dress. Bought it in early Spring. Very well made in a timeless style. A bit long for a petite. I am 5.2. I am still debating with myself whether to have it shortened a few inches .
