You have some great ideas. I’m discovering the reason I like a puffy or frilly sleeve on my tops is because of the volume it adds to my rectangular body. However, as someone who is 5’9”, our body structures and styles are quite different, and I much prefer high rise pants that draw attention to my natural waist and usually wear a fun belt to emphasize it.

My friend calls me a skeleton and a twig, one of my insecurities is my rectangle celery stick body. This video helped although I don’t think I can try low rise (I’m just not comfortable with it, and my mom would probably not let me out of the house which is o.k.) I will have to try flared and interesting outfits that draw more attention in ways described in this video :)

This style looks really good on you. I'm rectangle shape and growing up, everyone was wearing low rise (or hip hugger) jeans because it was in. It wasn't flattering on me because I have a long torso so my proportions were always off but I could never figure out why.

Also look into colour theory (which colour type you are, and what suits you. For example, you might be a wintertype, but I'm not sure. I'm an autumn type.

Low rise is doing the opposite thing to elongating your legs, instead it's elongating your torso and dividing up your body into two halves. Not flattering on rectangular body type at all, especially if you're petite elongated kibbe type

The issue is that from the front I'm a rectangle but from the side i look hella pregnant, that's just how my body carries weight, and that is the issue I can't style
