Because of this video, I JUST found out I'm a rectangle body shape. I'd been struggling between apple and inverted triangle, but I never quite fit their description. While I don't have significantly wide hips, my shoulders aren't broad either and so that always confused me. Watching this video I noticed a lot of things you pointed out were what I'd previously noticed fit or didn't on my body. Tysm for helping me finally get my body shape correctly!😭🙌🙏💕

Thank you so much. I've literally been sharing my mom's wardrobe that
1. doesn't fit my style and
2. fits a completely different body shape (she has very wide hips)
I kept wondering for so many years why I looked so ugly with everything I wore: now I know.
Time to fight for a new wardrobe

I LOVE this video! Thank you. I have this body shape and always felt insecure about not wearing flattering clothes. Off- shoulder tops/dresses look so good on me😁

I went last week to an image consultant who measured me and took my proportions; I'm a rectangle. My issue is that I am 5"4 so I have to be careful with outfits that do not make me look shorter than what I am. This was a great video; my favorite outfit is the midi-wrap dress. Looking forward to more videos :D

I just realized I have a rectangle body shape by taking a measurement quiz online and this is the first video I watched. Funny enough, I always loved the look of cropped jackets and blazers but every time I put one on, I looked horrible and always wondered why!! Lol

I use to be pear more shaped but with a recent gain in weight (covid) I'm now definitely more rectangular and I love all those shapes/silohettes you just mentioned.

Your illustration's so on point Bella! I use the exact tips you highlighted while wardrobe shopping or dressing! And this also helped me understand more of how to define my body shape,
cause I was quite unsure for a while. Loved it! & thank you ❤️

The only rule I break in here is the bell bottoms. I LOVE me some bell bottoms! 😍🙌🏼

Because I'm somewhat chubby, always thought I was a pear shape because my thighs a very thick, but now I realize that I am in fact a rectangle. Now is time for me to pay attention on what type of clothes to buy that will fit me better. Thank you!

I’m definitely a rectangle. I’m now in my 60s and have gained several pounds over the years...I used to be super skinny which made my rectangular shape even worse. When I gain weight, I just become a slightly bigger rectangle. That’s how much of a rectangle I am. I often like to buy tops and dresses that are asymmetrical in some way because it seems to help break up the “boxy look” Also, I like jackets and shirts that have a little flip or slight ruffle around the hip because it gives the illusion that I might just have a little bit of an “hourglass shape” going on....which is just an illusion, but it seems to work. ; )

Hi, thank you for very valuable ideas. What I noticed, having this shape, that I look usually bad in any oversize clothes, despite of wearing xs size, and I have never seen anybody with rectangle shape body looking good in oversize. What I disagree would be also wearing any off the shoulders clothes. I find them ruining my body proportions., as they are emphasise arms which are usually strong in this body shape. Super models are exceptions in this case.

Thank you for the excellent advice. This confirms why I love certain items in my wardrobe and other look awful on me! I definitely need to declutter a few things after watching this. I always hear that everyone should have a Jean jacket, but it never works on me… now it’s easy to see why!
