Did he say that millions and millions of Earths would fit in that picture? But he also showed that the spot roughly 1/6th of of was 80 times Earth's size. I count 480 Earths fitting in that picture.

This coronal hole either no longer exists or is on the far side of the sun. These holes are pretty common and not dangerous as long as you understand where the Earth lies in relation to that hole.

What is not explained properly is that that "dark hole" only appears in ultra-violet light which we can't see, but it's represented in colours we can see (it's a processed image).

Check out clips of our Sun in VISIBLE LIGHT - then there are no dark holes.

Those "holes" just represent no ultra-violet radiation from those parts of the Sun.

This is a cold spot. Not a hole. If that was mass being ejected on that level of magnitude the gravitational effect would be catastrophic to us instantly.

I thought the Sun was a Gas throughout to the core and that core was burning at several million degrees? How the heck could it turn Black? I don't think we know what the Sun really is?

Excuse me, this is quite common on the sun, and what you see on just one of the many frequencies that satellites like SOHO and several other satellites capture. This week, the second week of August, there will be such a "hole" again, but it's just a hole in the frequencies from the sun, it is not dangerous. Usually it will be a little bit more earthquakes in a short period of time, that's all.

I keep telling people that the sun/stars and a blackholes in space are one and the same, its not only a ball of fire, its a ball of pure energy.
I think this pure black layer right under the suns skin is prove of that.
