Ascendant is your foundation, even architecture of your home.
The Sun is your home office, the work you are here to do.
The Moon in your favorite chair.

Dear Maren, since childhood I was considering myself a Leo (told by parents being moon sign), in college days, via Linda Goodman book I started understanding myself a Libra (Sunsign) and at age of 55, I could realise I am a Capricorn (Asc). The ascendant really matched all my thoughts and actions in life looking back to past.
It was a enlightenment and your video put one more stamp of confirmation.

the house system is so fascinating! i'd never looked at my chart with the 'whole houses' system and it completely changed where most of my planets fall and i'm having a little identity/astrology crisis now lmao. but in the typical placidus system i have intercepted houses so i don't have leo or aquarius ruling any of my houses, and my sun/mercury/venus all fall into 6th, which i always felt made sense because i really resonate with virgo traits (i also have a virgo mars). but with the whole house system those planets now fall in 7th, which ALSO makes sense to me because i really don't care about work, i'm much more interpersonally focused, but this is the first time i've seen my chart like this and it's wild!!! i also am a libra rising and moon (in 1st) so that libra/interpersonal energy could also come from there, but it's as much cool as it is weird to see my chart in this new light after having had it almost memorized for so long now. really love your videos and all your insight!!! you've got me rethinking my whole chart haha
