Felix speaking in this tone caught me off guard lol

I like this version of Felix much better. Try doing one of your weekly Starship reports with a normal tone and see how it goes.

SpaceX testing logic:
_Launch Rocket_
“Well shit, it ain’t supposed to do that”
_build new rocket and tweak a few things and launch again_
“Well we fixed that issue, now we have a new one”
Repeat steps till near perfection

Felix, I really like this more conversational tone rather than the sportscaster voice you often project on your main channel. Two thumbs up for a calmer demeanor.

I prefer this tone over the overly stimulated one, which just seems fake... Much preferred, please keep it up!

Sweet. Without waiting on the FAA, we can see how long it really takes SpaceX between launches.

finally felix is talking like a normal human ❤

There's a LOT the media don't get about Starship! However, my take on the matter is that despite all the issues with previous flights and despite the fact that this is all brand new technology, SpaceX has seen an improvement in results with each flight. They are always learning, and if they keep at it they will eventually succeed.

The issue now is that with the recovered Super Heavy Booster, they have the first opportunity to see what damage and/or wear and tear has occurred and what, if anything, needs to be tweaked with the Raptors.

It’s like the early space program. You have to explode a lot of rockets to figure out how to not make them explode

I like this delivery Felix. Very good point regarding how traditional media was inevitably going to interpret the earlier tests as disasters. Just a different method of making progress.

The new mic or what ever U have new is amazing

That's what I love about SpaceX it's constantly pushing the boundaries and not consistently reusing old technology. SpaceX is literally on the daily basis trying to reinvent the wheel when it comes to space travel and for Elon I believe this all revolves around getting to Mars

Musk also has a very different approach to engineering. He wants to go as fast and as far as possible to purposefully break things so they can quickly learn the limits and failure points so they can maximize their success in a timely manner. By pushing beyond the limits, you learn your failure points so much faster and cheaper.

Makes it seem as if I am having a convo with Felix. I like it.

The booster on the 2nd Vulcan had an exhaust cone failure. The rocket compensated for the angled thrust but had the problem been on the Vulcan side it would have cut the rocket off like a huge cutting torch. This was called an "observation".

Imho one of close next step for the Starship is testing the orbital refuel with two spacecrafts. Imagine a Starship without flaps, only with solar panel arrays and radiative cooling panels, orbiting in LEO constantly refueled by fuel starship missions. Once you need to deliver a huge cargo to the Inner planets orbits, the crewed or cargo starship just refuel like a gas station and go. Virtually any planet would be accesible with this scheme.

I like the new Felix. The amount of information and insight he has on SpaceX is so informative that this matter of fact tone puts him above the rest! Thank you for your reports Felix!🎉❤

If 24-hour news existed in the 60s we may never have had a space program.

The news media usually cannot deal accurately with anything involving Aviation of Rocketry.
